The texts for the day read by the President. The Brn. J. Weiss and Augustus Wolle, delegates from the congregation at Bethlehem, presented their credentials and took their seats. Minutes of the eighth and ninth sessions, read, amended and approved. Br. Lennert introduced the Kev. A. C. Wedekind, delegate to this Synod from the General Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in the United States. The President extended a fraternal welcome to the Rev. Mr. Wedekind, expressing the gratification of the Synod to have in its midst a representative from a sister church. The Rev. Mr. Wedekind responded, presenting a cordial greeting to this Synod, from the Synod which he had the honor to represent. Having delivered his credentials, he was, on motion of Br. Schweinitz, made an advisory member. The credentials read as follows: This is to certify, that at a meeting of the General Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod in the U. S held in the city of Pittsburg, May 23d, 1869, the Rev. A, C. Wedekind was appointed Primarius, and Rev.C. W. Schaeffer, D.
