The point of the decision was subsequently affirmed in The State v. The City of Cincinnati, ' reaffirmed in The State ex rel. v. Mitchell, ' and has been followed in all subsequent cases. What Are Corporate Powers? No formal definition of corporate power has ever been given by the Supreme Court, but the numerous decisions on this subject show with fair precision the sort of powers included within this class. Until the recent decision in the case of The State ex rel. Knisely et al v.
