The said Annual Conference Board shall have charge of the anniversary of the Board of Education at the Annual Conference session, in cooperation with the corresponding secretary of the Board of Education. "There shall be at least one meeting of the Annual Conference Board of Education each year for the consideration and furtherance within the Conference of the general and local interests of education, at which meeting the corresponding secretary or other representative of the Board of Education of the Methodist Episcopal Church shall be present, if possible, and the said Conference Board shall provide for the presentation of the cause of education within the bounds of the Conference, and may arrange for conventions or other public meetings." IX. Paragraph 413, Section 4, add: "What young people in the charge may attend our schools and colleges in the near future T Have you sent their names to the educational institutions supported by the Conference?" X. Your Committee further recommends that the following resolutions be adopted, and that, if possible, we have the General Conference pass favorably upon them and order them printed in the Appendix of the Discipline of 191a. Resolutions 1. Resolved, That it is the conviction of this General Conference that the Public Educational Collection in each Conference should be fixed at not less than an average of fifty cents a member for each charge, and that the apportionment should be raised in full. a.
