Jakob Silfverberg (born October 13, 1990) is a Swedish professional ice hockey player, currently playing for the Ottawa Senators of the National Hockey League (NHL). On June 27, 2009, he was drafted into the National Hockey League (NHL) by the Ottawa Senators during the second round of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft as the 39th overall draft pick. On May 30, 2011, the Senators signed Silfverberg to a three-year entry-level contract, though he elected to return to Sweden for the 2011-12 season rather than make the move to North America.
