"Beware - no local account!" by Philip S. -
**Please be aware that this model does not allow local wifi connections (as opposed to Tapo ranges 100s, 200s, and 300s).** I have several Tapo cameras integrated into a local NVR setup. They work great, and I have been happy with the brand. I purchased these two cameras to monitor two spots on our premises which are far away from power. However, I have now found out that they don't allow local connections. You have to use the Tapo app to see the video. Apparently this is true for all battery Tapo battery cameras. Now Loot won't refund me because I opened the box. Other than this deal breaker, the cameras looked nice, and in my brief testing they had a good image. Now to try and sell the darn things :'-(
