David "Junior" Hoilett is a Canadian footballer who plays for Queens Park Rangers as a winger. Hoilett was born in Brampton, Ontario, and part of the Blackburn Rovers academy since the age of 13. He was initially unable to obtain a work permit whilst in England. As a result, Blackburn loaned him to German clubs SC Paderborn 07 and St Pauli to help the player earn one in the future.
Hoilett made 12 appearances for Paderborn scoring one goal against Borussia Monchengladbach on his final appearance at the age of 17 in the 2007-2008 season. The following season he made 21 appearances for St Pauli scoring six goals although still a Blackburn player.
In the summer of 2009, Hoilett was granted a work permit after Blackburn applied for him to play football in England. Hoilett broke into the Blackburn first team in the 2009-2010 season and scored his first competitive goal for Rovers came in a 3-1 League Cup win at Gillingham in August 2009. Hoilett had to wait until January 2011 to score his first league goal though. It came in a 2-0 home victory versus West Bromwich Albion at Ewood Park from a Nikola Kalinic assist. He went on to make 92 appearances for the club and score 14 goals.
After refusing a contract renewal with Blackburn Rovers after their relegation, Hoilett joined Queens Park Rangers on 27 July 2012 for a fee decided by tribunal. He signed a four-year contract and scored his first goal for QPR in a 3-2 League Cup loss to Reading on 26 September 2012.
Hoilett is eligible to play for Canada or Jamaica at international level. In February 2011, he rejected a call-up from the Canadian national team stating that he wanted more time to develop his club career before committing to international football. In January 2012, the Jamaica Football Federation President Horace Burrell confirmed that he had approached the player's father about Hoilett representing Jamaica. In March 2012, Hoilett told various media bodies that he would consider playing for the England national football team if eligible.

Kleper Laveran Lima Ferreira ‘Pepe’ was born on 26 February 1983 in Maceio, Brazil. He began his football career with a local neighborhood team and put the finishing touches on his development with Corinthians Alagoano. At the age of 18 he signed for the Portugal’s CS Maritimo B squad on the island of Madeira. Although he had difficulty adjusting to island of life, Pepe made fast progress, which happened to match the attention of European football giant, Porto, who he signed for in 2004.
Pepe has been considered by many as the perfect 21st century centre-back. He is said to have scissors attached to his legs because he cuts off absolutely everything, but he also exhibits uncanny technique, perfect tactical prowess, great placement, strength, intelligence, a dominant aerial game.
Performances like that displayed in Real Madrid’s 0-1 victory in the Camp Nou in 2007/08 only confirm Pepe’s status among the world’s best. His perfect match, and perhaps the best of his blossoming career, garnished him Man of the Match honours.
On 10 July 2007, Real Madrid signed Pepe to a five-year contract, for a fee of 30 million. On 15 March 2008, he scored the only (own) goal in a 1-0 away loss against Deportivo de La Coruna. Eight months later, he was involved in a fight during training with teammate Javier Balboa. The defender would be nonetheless called-up for Real's next match, whereas the winger was not. As the Merengues were eventually crowned La Liga champions, he delivered a Man of the match performance in a 1-0 win at FC Barcelona.
During the 2009-10 season, Pepe returned to claim his place back in the starting line-ups. On 4 October 2009, he scored his first goal in the league, against Sevilla FC at the Estadio Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan, heading home from a Guti free kick in a 1-2 loss. On 12 December, however, during a game at Valencia CF (2-3 win), he landed awkwardly following an aerial challenge, and was stretchered off the pitch in the dying minutes of the first half. Scans later showed that he ruptured his right knee's anterior cruciate ligament, going on to miss the rest of the season and jeopardizing his FIFA World Cup chances.
Michael Richard Dawson (born 18 November 1983) is an English footballer who plays for Tottenham Hotspur and the England national football team.
Midway through the 2009-10 season, Dawson became the team captain of Tottenham Hotspur as Robbie Keane left for Celtic on loan in January. His form that season saw him included in England's preliminary World Cup squad. Although he initially failed to make the final 23-man squad, an injury to captain Rio Ferdinand saw him drafted in as replacement.
In the 200809 season Dawson was to see his playing opportunities become more limited due to the arrival the previous season of Jonathan Woodgate from Middlesbrough. The 2009-10 Premiership season was to be regarded by many as Dawson's finest season in a Spurs shirt to date as he helped the club to a fourth-place finish, their highest league finish for 20 years and a qualification place for the UEFA Champions League. Initially Dawson was to once again struggle to get into the side partly due to the arrival of Sebastien Bassong from Newcastle in the summer, however after Tottenham's 9-1 demolition of Wigan Athletic in November and with ongoing injury problems to defensive duo King and Woodgate, Dawson was to establish himself as a rock at the heart of Tottenham's defence. He was to miss just one of Spurs' games for the remainder of the season and his leadership on and off the pitch saw him awarded the team captaincy after the loan departure of Keane to Celtic.
It was announced on 27 January 2010 that he had signed a new five year contract with Tottenham Hotspur taking him to 2015. Dawson's excellent performances throughout the course of the season saw him awarded Tottenham Hotspur's Player of the Year award. His form that season led to Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez calling him "the best English defender I have played against" due to his strength. On Monday 22 August 2011, he started and played the full 90 minutes alongside Younes Kaboul against Manchester United in a 3-0 defeat at Old Trafford. On Sunday 28 August 2011, Dawson started and played the full 90 minutes Manchester City at White Hart Lane in a 5-1 defeat. Dawson is set to miss the rest of the 2011-12 season due to rupture ankle ligament during Spurs' 3-1 FA Cup win over Stevenage.
