Aaron Justin Lennon (born 16 April 1987) is an English footballer who plays as a right winger for Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League and the England national team. Tottenham Hotspur The winger was named the supporters' Player of the Season for 2008-09. He terrorised left-backs up and down the country during his 47 games in all competitions, earning a new five-year contract at the Club in March 2009 as well as a recall to the England senior squad the same week. Aaron also scored five goals during the campaign. It was a season of transition for Spurs, whose manager Juande Ramos was sacked in late October after a terrible start to the season to be replaced by Harry Redknapp, who steered them to a secure an 8th place finish and also to the final of the Football League Cup, which they lost on penalties to Manchester United after a goalless draw at Wembley. On 28 October 2008, Lennon scored a last gasp equaliser in a memorable clash against North London rivals Arsenal, which ended 4-4 and was Harry Redknapp's first game in charge. His goals early in the 2009-10 season - against West Ham at Boleyn Ground, and Birmingham City - kept Tottenham at the top of the league table, with four successive wins, their best start to a league season since the 1960-61 season. On 24 October 2009, Lennon was injured in a match against Stoke City, Tottenham were consequently reduced to ten men as manager Harry Redknapp had used all three available substitutes. However he returned on November 22 in a 9-1 victory against Wigan Athletic. He provided three assists and scored one goal. He was substituted in the 79th minute for David Bentley receiving a standing ovation from the fans at White Hart Lane. The Tottenham winger suffered a groin injury in December 2009, against West Ham United, which kept him out of the team during the first months of 2010 and in the run up to the 2010 World Cup. He made his return from the groin injury in a 3-1 defeat against Manchester United at Old Trafford on 24 April. On 28 November 2010, he scored a last minute winner in a 2-1 victory against Liverpool at White Hart Lane after a Benoit Assou-Ekotto long ball. On 15 February 2011, Lennon went on a blistering run as Tottenham counter-attacked and then delivered a perfect pass to assist Peter Crouch in a 1-0 win over AC Milan at the San Siro in the Round of 16 of the Champions league. On 18 August 2011 Lennon scored in a 5-0 win against Hearts in a Europa League play-off. He scored his first Premier League goal of the season against Fulham at Craven Cottage. On December he scored his second goal of the season in a 3-0 win against Bolton at White Hart Lane. His next goal came on 11 January 2012 in a 2-0 home win against Everton.
Cheick Ismael Tiote is an Ivorian footballer who plays for Premier League club Newcastle United and the Ivory Coast national team. He has been described as a "tough tackling defensive midfielder." His name is frequently misspelled as "Cheik", but the player himself confirmed to the Newcastle Evening Chronicle newspaper that the correct spelling is "Cheick". Newcastle United Tiote joined English Premier League side Newcastle United on 26 August 2010 for a fee of 3.5 million after he was granted a work permit. He made his debut on 18 September 2010 against Everton at Goodison Park. His debut was very successful - completing all of his 64 passes. He also made two interceptions, completed all five of his attempted tackles, and his only shot was on target. He started all of the rest of the Magpies' games, putting in strong performances against Manchester City and in the 2-1 away win over West Ham. Tiots received man of the match for his performance in the 1-0 away victory against Wigan Athletic. He was sent off in the 3rd Round FA Cup tie against Stevenage suffering a three match domestic ban, but scored a memorable first goal on his return, scoring a 25-yard volley for the late equaliser in a 4-4 draw against Arsenal, a game the Magpies trailed 0-4 at half time. On 25 February 2011 Newcastle United announced that Tiote had signed a new six-and-a-half year contract to show his commitment to the club, keeping him at Newcastle until 2017. Upon signing his new deal, Tiote said 'The experience of playing in the Premier League has been better than I ever hoped it could be. This is a great club and the fans have been brilliant - I have never known support like it.

Fabricio Coloccini is an Argentine football defender who currently captains Premier League club Newcastle United, and plays for the Argentine national team. At the age of 30, Coloccini has already represented numerous football clubs, however it was his successful spell at Deportivo La Coruna where he earned his reputation as a top-level defender. After beginning his career at Boca Juniors in his native Argentina, Coloccini attracted the attention of AC Milan. He failed to establish himself there however and subsequently went on loan to four different clubs. In July 2011, he was promoted to club captain of Newcastle United after proving himself as one of the Premier League's most reliable and strong central defenders. In April 2012 he was named in the PFA Team of the Year due to his influence in Newcastle's impressive season. Coloccini also holds an Italian passport due to his Italian ancestry. Newcastle United Coloccini joined Newcastle United on a five-year contract in August 2008 for a fee of up to 10.3 million. Two days later, he made his debut against the reigning league champions, Manchester United, playing 90 minutes in a 1-1 away draw. Since his debut, Coloccini has been one of the most consistent inclusions in Newcastle's squad, and formed a partnership with fellow newcomer Sebastien Bassong in his first season. He was not immune to the pressures of representing Newcastle's infamous defence, coming under his most intense criticism for his performance in Newcastle's 5-1 defeat to Liverpool. Despite his mistakes in the game, manager Joe Kinnear voiced his support for Coloccini, stating that he believed his "Mr. Reliable" would bounce back. On 1 February, Coloccini was substituted against Sunderland in the 93rd minute. Up until this point, he had played every minute of every game for Newcastle all season. He was dropped for the 1-1 draw with Stoke City, but played in Newcastle's 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa which saw them relegated.

Jose Bosingwa da Silva, known as Bosingwa, is a Portuguese footballer who plays for Queens Park Rangers in the Premier League, as a right defender. An attacking fullback, his pace and ability to get up and down the flanks creates problems for the opposition. He spent most of his professional career with Porto and Chelsea. A Portuguese international in the 2000s, Bosingwa represented the nation at Euro 2008. Chelsea On 19 June 2009, FC Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge conceded defeat in his club's attempt to sign Bosingwa, who remained at Stamford Bridge. He sustained a knee injury in October, being rendered unavailable for the rest of the season. The club announced in early March that he required further surgery, ruling him out of the 2010 FIFA World Cup. On 24 April 2012, Bosingwa played a vital role in Chelsea's match against Barcelona in the Champions League semifinals. In his natural position, Bosingwa played the full 120 minutes in the Champions League final against FC Bayern Munich, as the Blues won 4-3 on penalties and became the first club from London to win the tournament. With Chelsea's back four being commended for their ability to keep the strong opposing offense at bay, Bosingwa himself received plaudits for his efforts against French winger Franck Ribery; Shortly after, however, along with teammates Drogba and Salomon Kalou, he was told he could leave once his contract expired the following month. Queens Park Rangers On 17 August 2012, Bosingwa signed a three-year deal with Queens Park Rangers. He scored his first goal for his new club on the 28th, netting against Walsall in a 3-0 home win in the season's Football League Cup. In December 2012 Bosingwa was fined two weeks' wages, for refusing to sit on the bench for a league game against Fulham. Portugal Bosingwa's consistent performances at club level earned him his first call-up to the Portuguese national team in May 2007 for a UEFA Euro 2008 qualifier in Belgium. Bosingwa made 24 appearances for Portugal as first choice right back including all four matches at Euro 2004 in Austria and Switzerland.
