Jump from amateur straight to professional with this fast-track guide to reading the tarot. How do you know which interpretation to choose when there are so many possibilities with the tarot cards? This book is the first and only quick-reference tarot guide, which uses a logically progressive technique; schooling the reader in a non-linear fashion as they jump between the pages corresponding to their randomly selected cards. Designed particularly for those wanting to be time-efficient and ambitious in their learning, the book highlights key terms and uses a logic-based key coded system to synthesise what can otherwise be a vast and perplexing array of possibilities when reading the cards in combination. With black and white illustration of each card, the Tarot system opens up a dialogue with our subconscious; the Tarot provides the ultimate form of self-sufficiency, making this book a users' guide to optimising and authenticating our finest, and most precious resource, that which could never be robotically recreated or computerised, the conscious human mind. With AI fast encroaching on all aspects of life not only does this book inform and instruct on the reading of the tarot, but it also develops and trains the centralised logical, analytical, and reasoning mind to work in harmony with our innate and often over-shadowed instinctual and intuitive abilities.
There's more to Tarot than illustrated cards. The Key to Tarot explains the mystery and power of Tarot, then provides lessons on conducting your own readings. Shrouded in mystery, the tarot was once thought to have been a set of sacred tablets of mystical wisdom saved from the ruins of an ancient Egyptian burning temple. It is now considered to be a symbolic mirror of opportunity that can help you to make crucial decisions, confirm your true desires for the future, and enhance self-understanding. A powerful mystical tool, the tarot's imagery is a symbolic universal language which you can quickly learn to understand, and which will unlock your own innate psychic potential. The Key to Tarot is a step-by-step guide to learning to read and interpret this mystical deck of seventy-eight cards. This book uses a combination of detailed background information and simple, interactive lessons and exercises to help you build up your skills and learn all there is to know about reading the Tarot. Plus, each of the book's four main sections concludes with a specially designed "masterclass" that takes you to a deeper into the Tarot.

The culture of two continents blends together in this one-of-a-kind tarot deck-creating a fresh perspective on what it means to be African-American.
I have to begin by saying that this may be the most inappropriately named Tarot deck ever. It might be better named the African Tribal Tarot or African Wisdom Tarot or African Culture Tarot. The only cards that have anything to do with the powerful influence African Americans have had on U.S. culture are on some of the pip cards, and this appears in monotone in the background as if the images were plugged in as an afterthought. I get the impression that someone submitted the deck to a publisher and it was refused with the advice that an African Myth and lore Tarot was not wanted, but an African American deck would sell. The artist appears to have plugged in some images in the already existent art. But I'd rather focus on what this deck is rather than the questionable naming, and it's terrific. As with most people in the U.S. educated in the public education system [read more]

Interpretation is the key to the art of Tarot reading. This pack includes a Tarot deck and an easy-to-use book which explains the key concepts of the cards in simple terms that the reader will find easy to remember and then put into practice in a reading. The Tarot has a 500-year history and most Western and Eastern cultures have created their own unique decks. The cards in this set, exquisitely illustrated by artist Emma Garner, express the rich imagery and symbols of the Tarot in a way that is both stunning and immediate. There are eight different card arrangements to try laying out, plus essential information on timing a reading; this is often omitted in Tarot instruction guides, even though the first question asked of a Tarot reader is often `When will these events happen?'. Particular attention is also paid to interpreting the `people' or Court cards of the Minor Arcana, as these are often stumbling blocks for the new reader. Armed with the knowledge in this book, the reader will be able to make sense of a complete reading for him or herself or a friend, and use these inspiring cards to solve problems, identify opportunities, and ultimately divine the future.
