Scott Boyd (born 4 June 1986 in Whitburn) is a professional footballer currently under contract with Ross County. Earlier in his career, Boyd played for Livingston and Partick Thistle. His career started with Livingston, from where he joined Partick Thistle on loan in January of the 2005-06 season. He helped the Jags to win promotion from the Second Division and, after the play-offs, Thistle then purchased his contract from Livingston. Boyd signed for Ross County in January of the 2007-08 season. In the 2009-2010 season, Boyd netted a goal in the last minute to knock Hibs out of the Scottish Cup at the Quarter Final Stage.
