NATURAL MATERIAL

Acacia Wood: The wood is hard and has a tight grain. This all-natural material makes this bowl impervious to water and stains, and it does not produce odours. These properties make this product safe for all hot and cold foods.

Craftsmanship Details

Whole Wood Moulding: Salad bowls are mostly cut from whole wood, with no splicing seams to avoid food residue hiding and a stronger structure.

Surface treatment: The products are finely sanded and coated with natural oils (e.g. soya bean oil), which makes the surface smooth, delicate and comfortable to the touch, while forming a protective layer to prevent cracking.

Cutlery set: matching spoons and forks are also made of acacia wood, with one-piece moulding design, rounded edges without scratching the mouth, and unified style with the salad bowl.

Thermal insulation and moisture absorption

The wood has a certain degree of thermal insulation, which slows down the cooling rate of food when used in winter; at the same time, its hygroscopicity regulates the humidity of the food, preserving the texture of the salad and preventing excessive moisture from causing the ingredients to soften and rot.

Recommendations for use and maintenance

First time use

Wash with warm water, apply a layer of food grade mineral oil or wood wax oil and leave for 24 hours to enhance the water resistance of the wood and brighten the colour.

Daily Maintenance

Cleaning: Wipe promptly with a soft cloth or sponge dipped in a neutral detergent after use, avoiding prolonged soaking (to prevent the wood from swelling and deforming). Stubborn stains can be gently scrubbed with lemon slices or baking soda.

Drying: wash and dry upside down, avoid direct sunlight or high temperature baking) to prevent cracking.

Regular Maintenance: Apply wood wax oil once a month to keep the wood moist; if there are slight scratches, sandpaper can be used to polish and re-oil.

Contraindications

Avoid touching sharp objects to prevent scratching the surface.
