The book is about a boy called Ben-K and his two best friends, Nicky and Virgil, who accidentally uncover an ancient bracelet during their school excursion to the Giza pyramids in Egypt in the year 2014. With the help of an old professor to decipher the mysteries of the blue Scarab Bracelet, the young friends are virtually transported back to the period of ancient Egypt. Somehow, there are parallel similarities between the three young friends from the 21st century with young Ben Jarus Ka'neff and his two best friends, Virguss and Nefitari, who lived more than four thousand years ago.
