The Last Remake of Beau Geste (DVD)

Marty Feldman writes, directs and stars in this parody of the French Foreign Legion adventure films based on the novel by P.C. Wren. When a priceless family heirloom goes missing, Sir Hector Geste (Trevor Howard)'s adopted twin sons - the weedy, pathetic Digby (Feldman) and his (not so) identical twin brother, dashing swashbuckler Beau (Michael York) - must gallivant across Europe and North Africa to keep it from the clutches of their wicked stepmother, Flavia (Ann-Margret). The all-star supporting cast includes Peter Ustinov, Terry-Thomas, Spike Milligan and Roy Kinnear.
