Born in Keene, Oct. 5, 1832. Has resided in Surry, Ridgway, Pa., Rockford, 111., and Washington, D. C. Educated at Marlow academy. Served in the U. S. sanitary commission in 1864. with the army of the Potomac, from the Rapidan to Petersburg, Va. Has served as cashier of the Winchester National bank since 1865, and town treasurer since 1866. Member of the House in 1868 and 69, and of the Senate in 1873 and 74 Am1don, Charles J., Hinsdale. Republican, Independent in politics, manufacturer, married; age, 61. Born in Chesterfield, in April, 1827. Educated at Chesterfield academy. He has held the various town offices, and served as member of the House, Senate, and bank commissioner. He is an able, candid citizen, does his own thinking, and has been a valuable legislator. He was formerly a Whig, then Republican. Andros, Elezer P., Piermont. He is a Republican, and hates snakes; his religion is to keep good fences; blacksmith by occupation, married; age, 62. Born in Bradford, Vt., and has resided in Wisconsin and Massachusetts. Served in the 15th N. II. Vols., and participated in the seige of Port Hudson; attended the 20th national encampment of the G. A. R. at San Francisco, in 1886. Has served as chairman of the board of supervisors, and as moderator for 13 years. Annett, Thomas, Jaffrey. Republican, Congregationalist, manufac turer of boxes and lumber, married; age, 57. Born in Fredericton, N. B., Dec. 1, 1831, and resided for a time in Cambridgeport, Mass. Educated in the common schools. Member of the House in 1879 and 188182. Always a Republican.
