This book is about a young boy growing up in the inner city. Violence and abuse in the home becomes overwhelming, and he runs away. He becomes a ward of the state, then placed in foster homes, a youth correctional facility, and becomes submerged by all the ills of the ghetto. So, it is about us, our children, and the many ways we lose them, but most importantly why, and how we must save them.
