The report of the librarian of the Carnegie Library of Charlotte for 1915 shows a steady growth in all departments and an ever-widening sphere of service. The opening of the Annex in April relieved the congestion in the main building and provided a specially well-equipped and properly supervised department for the children. The total circulation for 1915 was 44,891, the juvenile being 12,191. The increase over 1914 was 821. The number of new juvenile registrations...
