C. or S. C.; if pink coated, note that fact, so if called to be repeated we may dispense the same or explain to the customer beforehand, rather than have them brought back, with a suspicion that perhaps a mistake has been made. In this way two or more may be dispensing at once and with no more friction than if preparing original prescriptions. In regard to repeated prescriptions, each one filled is a prescription prepared, and if one feels he would like to know just how many prescriptions have been prepared in a given time, he can do so honestly to himself; if many "repeats" are prepared have a card, to note the number, date, price, etc. This will, in a measure, account for the time of the clerk as well as be a check on the cash drawer or charge slips. When, say, 100 "repeats" have been dispensed, skip 100 on the boxes, noting the fact on the last number and on the first number again, or if desired put the list of "repeats" in a box and number consecutively. As a matter of course, no prescription could be presented in that series as no label was written bearing that number. Oleic Acid For Liver Colic.--Inasmuch as olive oil is of such value in liver colic, Artault thought that probably oleic acid is the active ingredient of the oil and therefore tried it in several cases of the same disease.
