Excerpt: Slavia Jokanovi (Serbian Cyrillic: born 16 August, 1968 in Novi Sad) is a former Serbian professional footballer, who played in the 1990s and early 2000s, as a physical, not devoid of skill, central midfielder. Jokanovi represented FR Yugoslavia 64 times during an 11-year span, and made its final squads for 1998 FIFA World Cup and Euro 2000, where he was sent off against Spain.
