Brand Scents™ fragrances are designed specifically to perform in Reed Diffusers. 
Fragrances don’t perform equally well across all applications and so manufacturers shouldn’t use the same oils to make a soap and a hand cream or body perfume.

How we select the scents for you
The reed diffuser oils undergo stringent testing to assess their durability and scent quality. 
Not all fragrances perform well in a reed diffuser unfortunately.
Fragrance ingredients are sourced from across Europe and meet the highest standards and safety guidelines of the International Fragrance Regulatory Authority IFRA.

What to do if the scent is too strong or too weak?
Some scents, by their nature, are softer than others. 
If a particular scent is too strong for your nose, simply remove a few of the rattan reeds. 
If it is too weak, then flip the reeds more regularly to renew the scent.

How long will it last?
The rate of diffusion varies depending on where you position your Reed Diffuser.  If you place it on a windowsill in direct sunlight with a breeze blowing across it, it will diffuse faster.
The diffusion is also affected by how often you flip the reeds.
Once the oil is finished, the reeds will continue to emit a scent, so don’t throw the bottle away.
There are many factors affecting diffusion, so it is impossible to give an exact number of days.  We usually say it will last between 40 and 80 days

Must I change reeds for a new scent?
You should, because the two scents will mix, but if you don’t mind then it doesn’t matter.
Reeds do eventually get clogged and will need to be replaced every couple of months.  You will be able to see when they become saturated because they start bending and turn yellowish.

Recycle and re-use
Keep your Reed Diffuser bottle once the fragrance has dried up and buy a refill from us.  We also sell refills in 1 and 5 litre containers.
