British Railway Journeys of the North (DVD)

Collection of programmes which explore attractive railway journeys in the north of Britain. 'The North East' follows the rails from the River Tees in England up the coast to the North Sea in Scotland. 'Northern England' travels the Settle to Carlisle line, a journey that encompasses the Pennines and a number of historic castles and houses. 'The Peak District' explores the moorland terrain along the Huddersfield line. Finally, 'The Lake District' takes a look at several rail journeys in an area known for possessing some of the most spectacular scenery in Britain.
