The Caran d'Ache Eco Gouache range contains 18 colours of solvent- and allergen-free, opaque and matt-drying gouache paints, plus four fluorescent colours. These vibrant water-based paints are manufactured in Switzerland from 80% natural ingredients and are designed for use in art schools and for artistic or crafting projects at home. The colour range offers a comprehensive palette from which to mix any colour you desire, and because they have a high pigment concentration, they have great covering power, even at low concentrations.These paints have a matt finish when dry and are opaque (even when heavily diluted). They have a thick, soft consistency and are easy to apply. Though they are a student quality range, Eco Gouache colours have very high light resistance and can be used on a wide variety of substrates, from paper and cardboard to wood or salt dough. They can be cleaned up easily with just soapy water.The paints can be used straight from the bottle or diluted before use.
