Essential Operative Techniques and Anatomy (Electronic book text, 4th ed.)

The 4th edition of Operative Anatomy will be retitiled to more accurately reflect what is in the book to "Essential Operative Techniques and Anatomy." Operative Anatomy, as it has been titled for the first 3 editions, always had a significant amount of procedural information, and the text is organized by procedure, rather than by anatomical region. The other major change is that the 4th edition will systematically cover all Essential Common procedures from the SCORE curriculum and will also cover many of the Essential Uncommon procedures, which are mostly urgent operations seen in general surgery practice. The text's focus on clinically relevant surgical anatomy will remain, and in some cases be expanded with more anatomical drawings. Surgical residents can thus use this text as a reference for nearly all procedures with which they will be faced in their residency. Procedures that are rarely performed and are not in the SCORE curriculum will be represented on the companion website but will not be in the print product. This is the tablet version which does not include access to the supplemental content mentioned in the text.
