Pilgrim, You are not Without Spiritual POWER Chuck was born and raised along the railroad tracks in Hagerstown, MD. Ruthie soon divorced her alcoholic husband and earned a living for herself and son, working long hours at the Rubber Factory. After high school Chuck joined the 82nd Airborne Div. He married Penny in 1948 and they had three children, Pamela, Barry and John. Promoted up through the ranks from private to field grade, he served in Special Forces with overseas duty stations in Germany, Korea and Vietnam. Retiring from the Army, he purchased a 440-acre stock farm in Renick Valley, WV. While searching for reason for a tragedy in their family, Penny and Chuck, convicted by the Holy Spirit had a life changing experience. God became their Lord and Comforter and provided them revelation into His master plan. Trusting God for their future, a door of surprise opened, to ministry as pastor of five United Methodist Churches and that was just the beginning.
