Cindy Gates was born in 1957 on the east coast of Orlando, Florida. At the age of twenty-one she joined the US Army, where she was trained as a nurse. While in the military, Cindy met her husband, Bob; together they currently reside in Washington State. Cindy has taught classes on drug and alcohol abuse; there she learned how to recognize the other voice, the ego. Once you learn to recognize the other you, you will be able to clearly hear and understand how your ego works. You will find that your ego uses everything you have learned to get you to do what it wants you to do. Not only can you be free of addiction, you will start making wiser chooses in your life by paying attention to your thoughts. Cindy also has a spiritual side; by research and reading she has discovered how to live life in joy and happiness knowing that God is just a thought away.
