Then and Now goes back in time to look at well-known cities and their landmarks from as far back as the early 1900s. Early photographs are then compared with recent images taken from the same viewpoint. These are featured side-by-side to show how some of world's largest cities have changed or, indeed, remained the same over time. Revealing text documents the changes throughout the twentieth century and explains some of the main reasons for them.
