Christopher James "Chris" Jakubauskas (born December 22, 1978 in Upland, California) is a Major League Baseball pitcher for the Baltimore Orioles. A Lithuanian-American, Jakubauskas played first base at Oklahoma. After college, he was an assistant coach for the Los Osos High School varsity baseball team during the 2004-2005 season while his arm was recovering from Tommy John surgery. Jakubauskas pitched for several independent league teams, including the Lincoln Saltdogs of the American Association of Independent Professional Baseball, the Florence Freedom, of the Frontier League, and the Fullerton Flyers of the Golden Baseball League.
