Confessions of an American Buddhist (Paperback)

What tupe of Buddhism would cause over 10,000,000 Japanese families to begin practicing in only 60 years since World War II? That's an average of over 456 people each day! Not very well understood in America, its growth has been unprecedented in world religious history. Discover through the trials and tribulations of living the single life in New York City, how a young man discovered his own understanding of true happiness through this seemingly unusual but simple practice. A story of humor and sensitivity, the clear explanations found throughout will challenge the foundations of western religious thinking.
