He was born in Westfield; died in Boonville, N. Y. MRS. ANNIE THOMAS LANSING. 47991 Born in Albany, N. Y. Wife of W. A. Lansing. Descendant of Elijah Welles. Daughter of William Howell Thomas and Sophronia Palmer, his wife. Granddaughter of Stevenson Palmer and Elizabeth Welles, his wife. Gr-granddaughter of Elijah Welles and Phebe Tillason, his wife. Elijah Welles (1760-1834) served in Capt. Hezekiah Welles' company, Connecticut State troops, 1776. He was born in Connecticut; died in New York. MRS. LENA TAYLOR COON. 47992 Born in Brooklyn, N. Y. Wife of William Henry Coon. Descendant of Col. John Taylor and of Brig. Gen. John Neilson. Daughter of Dr. Benjamin Rush Taylor and Caroline Mundy, his wife. Granddaughter of Dr. Augustus Fitz-Randolph Taylor and Cath- arine Neilson, his wife. Gr-granddaughter of John Taylor and Janet Fitz-Randolph, his wife; John Neilson, Jr., and Catharine Voorhees, his wife. Gr-gr-granddaughter of John Neilson and Catharine Coeyman, his John Taylor (1751-1801) in 1775 was captain of Col. John Neilson's battalion of minute men and rose to the rank of colonel. He was in the battles of Princeton, Somerset Court House, Monmouth and Connecticut Farms. When captured at New Brunswick his men rescued him, but his property was destroyed.
