Cohasset Ridge (Paperback)

Inspired by memories of living in the mountain community of Cohasset, California during my preteen years, this fictional novel portrays not only my life on the ridge, but the life of four other boys that preceded me. To give credibility to each story segment, actual historical events and methods are used to accomplish tasks, specific to the period. The book is enhanced by the drawings of Richard Colby, retired art professor, illustrating scenes depicted in my text. Messages of right versus wrong, wisdom from mentors among the community and family values are woven throughout the fabric of the novel. The final fictional Chapters, a part of my visualization, is an overall representation of how life can be both successful and rewarding regardless of adverse situations, as long as one has a sense of being self reliant with respect for his fellow man.
