China Times : Selected Poems (Electronic book text)

A series of 24 poems written in China by Australian Poet, David Lewis Paget. The first things that hit a westerner when living in China are the cultural differences between east and west. During a year spent in China, incorporating two separate and distinct visits, the enclosed poems were written to underline some of those differences. They include observations on poverty, pathos, humour, and the innate goodwill of the Chinese people. In the author's own belief, this is some of the best work he has ever done.
