Antistreptococcic Serum, which has been used with benefit in the secondary infection of phthisis, is supplied in boxes containing three sealed bulbs of ten cubic centimeters capacity each. Price, $3.00 per box. Rheumatism. In the acute articular type our Granular Effervescent Sodium Salicylate is used. Each drachm contains 5 grains of Sodium Salicylate with an effervescent base of sodium and potassium citrate, flavored with gaultheria. This is a form of administration much superior to an ordinary flat solution of salicylates as usually dispensed, and the difference will be much appreciated by your patients. Globules of Colchicine with Methyl Salicylate are a favorite with many practitioners in the treatment of rheumatism, and gout as well.
