Delmar's Virtual Laboratory in Electricity is an collection of interactive activities on CD-ROM designed to assist students learn the key concepts covered in Delmar's Standard Textbook of Electricity 2E by Stephen L. Herman. The CD contains interactive 'Learn About It' exercises and review questions corresponding to the most difficult units in the textbook and interactive 'Test Your Knowledge' exercises to allow users to evaluate their comprehension of the material. These labs are designed to give the user virtual hands-on experiences with circuits, components, and equipment. This self-paced interactive software also features a unique bookmarking feature letting users leave the program and return to it at the same point. Delmar's Virtual Laboratory in Electricity is available as a stand-alone CD for individual use or as a networkable program, for use in a computer lab. The stand-alone version includes a utility that allows you to save a record of the work on a floppy disk, enabling instructors to check student progress. The network version allows each user's progress to be saved separately on the network.
