Brother Hunt: It is customary for us to have at this time a little atmospheric disturbance, and as we have with us tonight some of our greatest orators, we will have the usual atmospheric disturbances. You have heard quite frequently in the last few weeks that Rochester like misery loves company. We will all agree that Rochester has made good her boast that she loves company. While we have not waited to be welcomed but have helped ourselves in true Delta Sigma Delta fashion, with both hands, I think we should receive a word of welcome from one of the Rochester men, and I am going to call upon Brother Sager to give us a word or two on that subject. Brother Sager: Mr. Toastmaster and Brothers in Delta Sigma Delta: I rise only to get out of the way in order that this program may go forward. Some one has said that fraternalism as well as religion, needs a revival in this country, but I am sure that our beloved fraternity has been gathering strength, until we see here tonight, I believe, the largest assembly of Delta Sigma Delta men ever gathered together in the history of the fraternity. Tonight must always be for me a memorable occasion. I have the honor to welcome to Rochester a fraternity celebrated all over the world for its brilliant fellowship, its broad enlightenment, and its large and gracious hospitalities. I see around me tonight those who worthily reflect by their might, their learning, their literary, social, civil, and artistic achievements and accomplishments, the best intellect of the dental profession of the whole world.
