Focus on teenagers - research into practice (Paperback)

Whilst media attention has concentrated on the plight of younger children needing protection, the focus of the transition from childhood into adulthood has taken a back seat, although the increasing pressure on teenagers to conform to a mass culture has not abated. This review looks at a broad range of young people in their teenage years in need of social work services, and at the deployment of local authority services in relation to teenagers and the outcome of these efforts.
