For Abigail Harp, a gray cloud suddenly looms on the horizon when her daughter calls and says she is leaving her four children with a neighbor and asks her mother to come get them. After a year and a half which is filled with turmoil, Abigail accepts the fact that something dreadful has happened to her daughter and she will never see her again. Then out of the blue, she receives a phone call. Shirley is alive and well, living in Kentucky, and has a new family.
