Whispering Winds (Paperback)

A few years ago I walked into the nursing home where my mother was living to find her sitting in her wheelchair with her head bowed and eyes closed. She was over 90 years old, arthritic, could not even feed herself. As I came into the room she looked at me and said, "I wish I could do some good in the world before I die." As time went by I realized how important it could be to "do some good in the world." I took stock of myself and came to the conclusion that I had not accomplished anything of real value. I gave it a lot of thought, searching my mind for something I could do. My only talent is writing poetry. I decided that I would write a poem of praise and worship every day. A word of thanks follows each poem. For three years I wrote my verse each day. For the fourth year I decided to make the book a devotional. A date, a bible reading, the poem, a few thoughts, and a prayer. Each day I have fervent prayer before beginning to write. The poems here are from book five through book ten. I still ask God's blessing before each one. I will appreciate your comments. - DKB
