Joy's Green is a village in the Forest of Dean in west Gloucestershire, England. The village contains a post office / village shop and a newly constructed recreation ground with playground equipment. It consists of mostly privately owned ex council houses and new builds. On 22 June 2006, Gloucestershire County Council announced plans to close Joys Green Primary School effective 31 August 2008. Children would attend Lydbrook Primary School in Upper Lydbrook, Gloucestershire instead.
