Ross Robinson (Paperback)

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles Ross Robinson is an American music producer, who has worked with acts such as Machine Head, Korn, At the Drive-In, Limp Bizkit, Slipknot, Vanilla Ice, The Cure, Sepultura, Glassjaw and many others. He has been called "The Godfather of Nu Metal." Robinson began as a thrash metal guitarist for the bands Detente and Murdercar (feat. future Machine Head drummer Dave McClain) and picked up his knowledge of producing from the studios where his band recorded demos. It wasn't long before Robinson was well-versed enough with the recording studio that he received his first production job for the 1991 Fear Factory album Concrete. Robinson would use the album as a showcase of sorts in helping him land producing slots with other notable acts; particularly up and coming acts like Korn.
