The Milk And Butter performance of the Holstein cow, queen of the dairy herd at the Connecticut Agricultural college, is given as follows: On her best day she gave 901 lbs. of milk containing 3.089 lbs. of butterfat. In 7 days, from March la to March 22, she gave 611.4 lbs. of milk and 21913 lbs. of fat. In 30 days, from March 14 to April 12, she gave 2,555.5 lbs. of milk and 86.826 lbs. of fat, being an average of 85 18 lbs. of milk per day. In the past fivmonths she produced over 11-000 lbs. of milk. During the months of March. April, May and June she produced 9.473.3 lbs. o milk. The W'ebaboa Experimental Fabm, New Zealand, wintered 20 young Holstein bulls last year which were to be disposed of this year.
