Extremes.--Maximum discharge during year, 4,660 cfs Jan. 29 (gage height, 14.64 ft), from rating curve extended above 1,900 cfs on basis of contracted-opening determination of peak flow; no flow July 22. 1941-67: Maximum discharge, that of Jan. 29, 1967; no flow at times in many years. Flood in 1939 reached a stage of 13.6 ft, from floodmarks 600 ft downstream. Remarks.--Records good above 10 cfs and poor below. Some regulation at low flow by small mill three-quarters of a mile upstream from station.
