Mex., 4 miles above the mouth of Ute Creek, and 100 yards northwest of the old Martinez house. The station is maintained in cooperation with the territorial engineer of New Mexico. No important tributaries enter Ute Creek below the station or for several miles above. The stream is intermittent in character and most of the run-off water is derived from heavy ruins on the basin. A little water is diverted for irrigation above the station, but storage is necessary in order to utilize any...
