The expense of work on the Crow Reservation in Montana, the Standing Rock Reservation in North and South Dakota, and the Pine Ridge and Rosebud reservations in South Dakota was borne by the Office of Indian Affairs. Officials of the Yellowstone National Park have furnished gage readings and paid for a part of the expense of work in the park. All stations in Wyoming were maintained in cooperation with the State through Mr. J. B. True, State engineer. The United States Reclamation Service paid for maintenance of stations on North Platte River above Pathfinder, Sage Creek above Pathfinder, Dinwoody Creek near Lenore, and on Bull Lake Creek near Lenore, Wyo., and also furnished records for certain stations as acknowledged in connection with descriptions of those stations. The United States Forest Service furnished gage-height records for Big Creek near Big Creek and Middle Fork of Popo Agie River near Lander. Gage-height records and transportation necessary to obtain data were furnished by Laramie Water Co. for Laramie River and Pioneer Canal near Woods and by Hawk Springs Development Co. for Horse Creek near La Grange. The L. Z. Leiter estate, through J. C. Beebe, manager, furnished records of gage height for Piney Creek at Ucross, and transportation to a number of stations in the vicinity. The Buffalo Manufacturing Co. furnished daily gage-height records for Clear Creek near Buffalo. The State engineer of Colorado furnished records for Laramie River near Jelm, Wyo.
