In the same year Miss Edgeworth again refers to her, and mentions correcting "Belinda" for Mrs. Barbauld, who is going to insert 12 it in.her collection of novels, with a preface. While still very much prostrated and depressed by the death of Mr. Barbauld, she had the strength of mind and fortitude to busy herself with her beloved pursuits; and being asked to edit a "Collection of the British Novelists," she consented to occupy herself with the arrangement and preparation of their works and lives.
