On the 6th of the same stock and divimonth, William Wickenden instructed his broker to sell name'of5 100/. part of the 700/. four percent. Annuities, but the but no r bill had been sale was prevented in consequence of the distringas. No filed against the bill had been filed in this Court by the plaintiff against.the the distringas' Governor and Company of the Bank of England, or Tc'.ZtVc/of against William Wickenden. Upon these facts--the case set aside with co ts. Skirrow moved, on the part of William Wickenden--That f cJ ' Y the distringas issued out of and under the seal of this Court, / at the instance of the plaintiff, for the purpose of restraining /fy? 9_ f& $4 the transfer and payment of the sum of 700/.. four/?er cent. Annuities of 1826, and the dividends thereof, or any other sum then standing on the books of theGovernor andCompany (a) This case was argued l/th kindness of Mr. Skirrow, for the February, 1828, before the Lord opportunity of submitting it to Chief Baron, in his private room, the profession.
