About the middle of January, 1908, vessel interests in particular, and the public in general, were met with the announcement that the extensive vessel business conducted by Capt. W. C. Richardson for a good many years past with headquarters in the Perry-Payne Bldg. at Cleveland, O., had been reorganized so as to receive into membership in the business the four men who have been associated with Capt. Richardson for a number of years past. The style of the new firm will be W. C. Richardson & Co. The new members are Mr. W. E. Chapman, who is the oldest in years and in point of service with Mr. Richardson, and has been active manager of the boats operated by the company for more than ten years. The other gentlemen entering the firm at this time, Mr. T. H. Paine. Clarence E. Richardson and John T. Kelly, are all younger men but are especially well versed in the affairs of the company. Capt. Richardson, although hale and hearty, has put in a good many years of hard work in the vessel business. This change will enable him to hand over to the other members of the firm much of the work he has carried for so many years upon his own shoulders. The company will retain the offices in the Perry-Payne Bldg. occupied by Capt. Richardson for a number of years past. RDSON MISCELLANEOUS MARINE ITEMS. REMOVAL NOTICES.
