About Goddess Unchained Heather takes a very personal journey and conveys it in a way that captivates and brings all phases of growth into a genuine exploration of self. In sometimes bold acts of shameless self-revelation, poems can be cathartic and purifying if their job is done well. They can allow us opportunities to see ourselves in their lines; awakening possibilities and changing perspectives. They are resonant frequencies that tell us we are not alone with thoughts and feelings we may have hidden in shame and give us the courage to allow our True Selves out into daylight. I have divided this volume into six sections, each outlining a different phase of growth, struggle and emergence; with the intention that many will recognize and retrieve pieces of themselves within.
