Hemp Seeds: High in Protein, Omega and Fibre

Hemp Seeds are very high in protein and is the only source of plant based protein that contains all of the essential amino acid. Hemp Protein is one of the most easily digestible forms of proteins to the human body since it does not have trypsin inhibitors that impede the absorption of proteins. Proteins account for up to 26% of the total seed weight, 33% of the seed mass is made up of oil, the rest is made of indigestible fibres. These indigestible fibres are amazing for gut health and while they are listed are carbohydrates they are still “low carb” because the body doesn’t absorb them.

The oil in the hemp seeds is rich in vitamins A, D, E, sodium, calcium, and iron, polyunsaturated fatty acids. Hemp Oil contains important omega-3 and omega-6 acids in the ideal ratios for humans with an average ratio of 3: 1 (57%: 19%). This is very important for brain health and is the best natural source of omega's that we have access to. Studies have shown that the frequent use of hemp seed oil is more effective than the olive oil in positively lowering blood cholesterol, improving deep skin, hair cell condition, and strengthening immune system. This oil is considered one of the most serious alternatives to fish oil or linseed oil, it is suitable for children for daily use. Contrary to flax seed oil, hemp oil can be eaten daily, and the amount of essential fatty acids in the body will remain constant.

How to use: Seeds are eaten with or without shell, raw or roasted, full or crushed, alone or with other spices. The shell not only brings a pleasant crispy feeling, but also acts as an "intestinal broom" and facilitates digestion. It is easy to make nutritional vegan milk alternatives from these seeds – leave the seeds for several hours or overnight in the water (in a ratio of 1: 4), ground and strain through a fine strainer. Suitable for children

Nutrient value per 100 g: fat 35.5 g, protein 28.4 g, carbohydrates 27.6 g, minerals (P, K, Mg, Ca, Fe, etc.) 7 g, fiber 22.2 g , energy value 2000 kJ / 525 kcal.
