Quirky Japanese comedy about a working class woman who decides to
change her life through sheer willpower. Mitsushima Hikari stars as
Sawako, a small-town girl who ran away from home to Tokyo five
years ago but whose dreams have come to nothing. Stuck in a dead
end job and disillusioned with love after a string of hopeless men,
she returns with her co-worker and boyfriend-of-sorts Kenichi (Endo
Masashi) to her home town to help out at her father's clam-packing
factory after he is taken ill. There she decides to re-invent the
business and overcome the mediocrities of her life, even if the
change is by necessity one of attitude rather than circumstance.
