The S55 is a regional railway line of the S-Bahn Z rich on the Z rcher Verkehrsverbund, Z rich transportation network, in the canton of Z rich in Switzerland. The line runs from the northwest of the canton of Z rich from Niederweningen and heads for Oberglatt. Its only six train stations are the same as of the line S5. All services are operated by Re 450 class locomotives pushing or pulling double-deck passenger carriages. The train frequency is usually every 60 minutes alternating with the S5 line and the trip takes 16 minutes.
