Having used manual steam cookers for many years, this new electric version combines the benefits of traditional steam cooking with modern technology and convenience. What makes this unit great : - 8L compared to the 6L unit. That extra 2L makes a big difference in volume, especially for families of 4 or larger. It also makes it possible to fit larger cuts of meat (eg. whole leg of lamb or whole chicken) much easier. - Automatic programmes that execute without manual intervention. You can simply start it, then leave it and come back later in your own time. The timers and many safety features ensures that the unit switches off on time and that food won’t burn. - It’s a saute pan, steam cooker and a slow cooker. Simply brown your meat and/or onions with the saute function, then switch to a steam cooker mode to quickly steam the meat until soft, then add veggies and switch to slow cooker mode to make a wholesome stew, all in one pot. - High quality stainless steel inner pot, no teflon covered surfaces. - Easy to clean - Many, many more great features. - Delivery and service from Loot was great.
