JaaMal Jones was born in Gary, Indiana, in 1985. Although growing up in a troubled area JaaMal was very determined to succeed. He always wanted to become a great writer some day. In order to succeed he knew that there would come a time of tests and trials in his life. After giving his life to God, the many tests and trials began to come. This experience gave him the drive to write, not only about his experiences, but so that anyone could relate to it. This book of poems are based on what JaaMal was going through during his time of tribulation, which brought him closer to God, setting him free from sin. The book will, hopefully, help everyone else to do the same, by experiencing the grace of God just as JaaMal has. This book is proof that in every situation, no matter how bad, God will bring you out. It will open your eyes in many ways. There is a powerful message behind every poem. This will bring you to a new experience; experience life, experience love, experience freedom, and most important, experience God.
